With over 20 years Board experience and since graduating with a 1^st Class Honours B.A. (Marketing), much of Ian’s career has been spent in the retail environment: working in marketing; store operations; logistics; and site/business appraisal, acquisition and disposal.

 

As a Director and MD he has developed both business unit management teams, and created systems and processes to assist in the management, development and profitable control of complex organisations.  

 

Ian has also worked closely with financial institutions to engineer business turnarounds and to create and manage fully linked product and information supply chains.  

 

In addition to running his own consultancy and his own retailing and property development company, he has been involved in providing practical business mentoring to the retail, franchise, IT, sponsorship, bakery, legal, accountancy, training, banking, pharmaceutical, motor, engineering, publishing, building, design, entertainment, beauty, PR, compliance consultancy, hotel and catering industries.
