John received a first class honours degree in Chemistry and Business Studies at the University of Salford, before being employed as a Graduate Trainee at Boots. From there he was employed by GUS as Merchandise Controller for one of their subsidiaries. In 1984 John set up his business in the Marketing and Logistics area which he developed for over 20 years until he left following his own exit strategy. Since that time John has been involved in business start ups and has developed his consultancy practice both here and overseas.
