A management accountant by background, Paul has worked as a Financial Controller with various subsidiaries of Public Companies in the UK engineering sector. He later joined a foreign-owned food packaging business as European Finance Director based in the UK and Spain and was instrumental in helping to improve the core turnover from £1m to £10m in less than five years.

Paul specialises in strategy development and implementation, finance and accounting, turnaround situations and grooming for sale and exit. He has very high expertise in mentoring and team building and has an enviable reputation for his work on succession planning.

Brian began as a research physicist but became interested in business and gained qualifications in accounting and finance. He has had over 25 years Board level experience in small and medium sized enterprises and has extensive experience of planning and innovation in many technology led businesses.

He has considerable expertise in business processes and IT systems development focused on high growth new ventures. Brian’s direct involvement as owner or Director of several start-ups has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the commercial drivers of a business.

Stephen is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and has 27 years of corporate sector experience with several of the world's foremost financial institutions. He has dealt with major international transactions in premier financial centres, involving board level decisions for quoted companies. A sharp business acumen and broad experience is combined to successfully operate his current Business Training Consultancy and Property Investment activities.

His particular focus is on Strategic Planning, Financial Structuring and Commercial Negotiations. He has practical experience in each of these areas, which is used in both consultancy assignments and in the delivery of business training programmes.

John received a first class honours degree in Chemistry and Business Studies at the University of Salford, before being employed as a Graduate Trainee at Boots. From there he was employed by GUS as Merchandise Controller for one of their subsidiaries. In 1984 John set up his business in the Marketing and Logistics area which he developed for over 20 years until he left following his own exit strategy. Since that time John has been involved in business start ups and has developed his consultancy practice both here and overseas.
